Day 9 - Seaworld

Today was our day at Seaworld. It was pretty hot around 32-35 degrees. We got there around 9:30am. We got our park maps and headed to Dolphin Cove to do the dolphin feeding. When we arrived we had about 45 minutes to wait until the next feed time so we took Peyton to see the rays. She like touching them but didn't want to feed them. Steve took Brandon to the loo and for a walk to see the alligators. Finally it was time to do the dolphin feeding. It was $7 per tray so it cost us $35. It was really good though. Mum enjoyed herself a lot.

By now it was time for the Shamu show One Ocean. We started walking over towards Shamu Stadium and Steve and mum ran into the bakery for a drink and mum got a piece of carrot cake. By the time we got to the stadium they were at capacity. Well let me tell you I was pissed. It was the only reason I went to Seaworld. We got there at 12:15pm for the 12:30pm show. We didn't realise it would be full so early. There was another show scheduled for that day but it wasn't until 6:00pm and I wasn't hanging around that long. Luckily our tickets have an extra day on them so we are thinking about going just to see the show. I decided to get a cookies and cream dippin' dots to cheer myself up!

We then headed over to the kiddie area. The kids rode some kiddie rides and spent some time in the splash area. We stayed there for around an hour. After that we decided enough was enough. We were hot and pissed off so we went home.

We stopped at Super Target for some stuff for lunch. I was able to find some bread passable for our white bread from home. Crusty French sticks! We got chicken and tuna and had sandwiches for lunch. After lunch we took the kids for a swim in the resort pool. Steve wanted to give the Lumix camera a whirl. He was pretty impressed.
