Our first destination
We ended up back at the park by 10ish. We went in and headed straight for Seuss Landing. I was leaving Harry Potter until later as I heard it was always super crowded early in the morning. We did the Cat in the hat ride twice in a row as it was a 5min wait. Practically a walk on. Mum loved this and cracked up laughing the entire ride. She loved the spinning! As all good rides go this one was no different and ended in a gift shop. We got the kids t-shirts with "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" on them. Then the kids and I took mum on One fish, Two fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. This is a fun ride where you can get squirted with water. We then got a popcorn snack while Steve took Peyton and the carousel, twice! Then and mum and Peyton waited while Steve and I took Brandon on the The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride. The wait was 40 minutes and we waited.... It was the most boring ride ever. Oh well Brandon got off saying he liked it so thats the main thing right!

We were pretty much finished in Seuss Landing by then so we started meandering towards The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. To get there we had to walk through The Lost Continent. We decided to try the Poseidon attraction as there was no wait and it was in the cool. Lets just say I can see why there was no wait. Bad acting and really drawn our and boring. Just fire and water, fire and water special effects with some lights thrown in. I wasn't impressed at all. We continued on towards the land of Harry and Steve spotted a psychic. Well mum was off like a shot to get a reading....
The village of Hogsmeade
We continued on to the village of Hogsmeade. We stopped for a few photos with the Hogwarts Express. Brandon wanted no part of this, although he was in awe of the train! The Steve we looked in a few shops. Zonkos Joke Shop and Honeydukes Sweets! I purchased some chocolate frogs and Bertie Botts every flavour beans. They also sold many other sweet treats.

Peyton had fallen asleep in the pram by then so Steve went on Dragon challenge as it was only a 5 minute wait. In fact the whole Wizarding World of Harry Potter was unusually quiet, although I wasn't complaining! If you haven't guessed by now, I'll let you in on a little secret.... I hate rides. Anything more than a mild thrill and you have me running a mile. After I went on the Bush Beast at Australia's Wonderland before they tore it down, i swore never to go on anything scary again! I mean at least for history's sake I experienced it, but ask Nadine. You don't want to be next to me on anything like that!

Back to our schedules programming......
So while Steve went for gold on the Dragon Challenge, Brandon and I sought out the famous Butterbeer. We only waited a few minutes in line before we got some of the carbonated version. (There are two: Carbonated and Frozen) It was delicious. Brandon agreed whole heartedly! It was like a butterscotchy creaming soda with a ice cream like froth. So hard to describe but amazing. While our intentions were good, to share with daddy, he took too long so we finished it! Steve finally made an appearance and the reason he took so long was they let him ride twice! He got to do both sides. It was not busy and he asked them if he could do the other side and they said to go ahead! Anyway, we decided Steve needed to try the Butterbeer so I went and got him a cup. It was unanimous! The Butterbeer was a hit.

Tasting...
It's good mum!
By now all this beer drinking had gotten us hungry so we headed to the Three Broomsticks for lunch. They served "English Pub" Fare. We ordered a Shepherds Pie with garden salad, Fish and Chips and a kids fish and chips and a kids nuggets. We also ordered the frozen/slushy version of Butterbeer in a souvenir mug. The Shepherds Pie was ok, The rest was pretty sub standard. I mean who eats fish and wedges?? Peyton didn't even wake up for lunch. We tried but couldn't rouse her. Oh well, she didn't miss out on much.

After lunch mum finally caught up with us and we window shopped some more. Peyton finally woke up and downed the rest of the Butterbeer. She was even trying to lick the cup! I looked in the Post Office but it was way to packed. They also sold wands in here. We meandered up to Hogwarts and did the walking tour of the castle. It was done really well. After this I was starting to flag and we decided to leave.

We went through Jurrasic Park and Steve took a few "nerd" photos! Brandon tried out rock climbing ($5) got a third of the way up and piked it. At least he had a go, plus he wasn't exactly wearing appropriate footwear that day.
The sign says it all!

We walked through Toon Lagoon and Marvel Superhero Island on our way out. I took photos as we walked though. I was exhausted. Steve was going on the Hulk Coaster (The most INSANE I've ever seen!) but he was rollercoastered out for the day. We went home and I hit the hay!
