Day 6 - Hollywood Studios

Today was our day at Hollywood Studios. It was a long, albeit awesome day. It totally made up for our sucky day at EPCOT. We got to the park at about 9:15am and the first thing I did was grab a map and work our where to go for Toy Story Mania. I worked it out quickly enough and power walked up there with the kids to grab our Fast Passes. The return time was already at 12:45pm :O By now it was 9:25am so we jumped in the line to meet Woody and Buzz. It only took us about 15 minutes. No picture of Buzz and Woody, they're on the photopass. But a consolation prize... Photos we took while waiting in line.

The Claw...

Brandon was so happy to see Stinky Pete!!

The kids and I got a snack while mum and Steve went to check out One Mans Dream, We got a bucket of popcorn and a sprite. The popcorn was entirely delicious in a sickenly buttery way. The wait for One Mans Dream was too long so they came back.

We then headed up to do Studio Backlot Tour. We all really enjoyed it. Afterward Steve and the kids did some green screen photos at the little shop at the end.

We wandered out and were basically at Studio Catering Co. So we decided we might as well do lunch. Mum got some sort of veggie? Sandwich with fries, Peyton got the kids nuggets meal, Steve and Brandon shared a chicken Caesar wrap meal and i got the buffalo chicken sandwich meal. We were all happy with our choices.

We then went to the Streets of America to wait for Mater. We waited, and waited and waited. We asked many cast members but no could give us an exact answer. He won’t come out if it’s raining, been raining or its showing signs of raining soon... We waited for over an hour and gave up. We quickly went and caught the parade. Pixar Pals Countdown to fun. It was a pretty good parade! We stopped at the Writers Stop for another snack. A famous carrot cake cookie and a giant choc chip Mickey Cookie. Both were again delicious. Mum bought a book on Walt and Steve also got a book.

**MATER**

Finally a very happy little boy! :D

It was now time for Toy Story Mania. The standby wait time was 70minutes. Thank god for fast passes! I can now see why the popularity. It is an awesome ride for all. I didn’t score great 85000 and Steve scored the highest at around 115000. I will definitely do that again!

So cool in our TSM glasses!

We then headed back to do Voyage of the Little Mermaid. On the way the, the kids wanted their faces painted so we obliged.

A pretty mermaid princess

With one Spiderman and one Mermaid Princess it was only fitting we see Voyage of the Little Mermaid. I really like this. The kids loved it. The special effects are so great and it offered a nice break from the heat of the day. Peyton crashed out in the pram so Steve and mum went to do the great movie ride. So Brandon and I went in search of another famous snack. Funnel cakes. We got one with powdered sugar. Mmmm....

Peyton was still asleep so Brandon, Steve and I did the Prince Caspian Narnia attraction. Then Steve and Brandon waited while mum and I did One Man’s Dream. Mum and Steve went to Tower of Terror while I took the kids for a walk in the pram. Finally Brandon fell asleep and Peyton woke up. By now it was time to meet up and see Fantasmic. It was only 8:05pm but the park had been busy all day, we ended up being seated on the far left side of the stadium but we still saw the show just fine. We all loved it. Peyton commented she didn’t like the “witch” or the snake or the dragon but she was amazed.

One of P's reactions during Fantasmic!

We went home after a full day in the park exhausted but happy.
