On the jungle cruise
After our appointment at the BBB Peyton had to go on the carousel. Then we looked for nanny, daddy and Brandon. Nanny was perusing the shops and Steve had taken Brandon on Pirates of the Caribbean, The Magical Carpets of Aladdin and The Jungle Cruise. We finally met up with them, I had to get Brandon to his appointment at the Pirates League at 11:00am. We got there and checked in, Brandon picked a face to be painted in and then he got to pick his pirate name. It was James something or another, I can't remember. The chose it by getting him to spin a barrel some dice, then by the month he was born. Anyhow, while we were waiting a little boy was coming out crying his eyes out. They took off his pretend earring and he screamed louder. This was not good, it totally put Brandon off the experience. He just flat out refused to do it. There was no convincing him so we left.
We then went and climbed the treehouse, explored Tom Saywer Island. Very boring! Then we took a ride on the riverboat. I then convinced him to go on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. He got scared. He was ok over the first hill but well after that it was all downhill. (haha) He didn't cry until we got off though. We were planning on going home for a bit before our dinner reservation at T-Rex at Downtown Disney but it was getting late and our reservation time was early so we decided to stay and just occupy ourselves for an hour. We had been saying for days how badly Brandon needed a haircut so we wandered up to the Main Street barber shop. First we did Mickey's Philharmagic, then we went to the barber. We only had to wait 15 minutes and it was Brandons turn for a haircut. He was really good about it but he always is. He only had two instructions though. No colour and no glitter..... How boring. While he in there the parade came by, so Steve stood out there and took photos.

With the haircut over and done with, it was time to head over to Downtown Disney for dinner at T-Rex. T-Rex is a really cool dinosaur themed restaurant. It has a few themed rooms. An underwater room, a jungle type room with triceratops and other herbivores, an ice cave with a giant skeleton and another room with T-Rex. Plus there were woolly mammoths and a meteor shower that went across the sky every 20 mins or so. The kids loved the theming and we all loved the food. Steve and I ordered the Onion rings, then the half chicken and half rack of ribs combo with waffle fries. OMG this was delicious. Seriously the best ribs we have ever eaten, so moist and so tender.....amazing! Mum had the lasagne which she enjoyed. Brandon had mini corn dogs (pluto pups) and Peyton had the dinosaur nuggets. After dinner we went and checked out the Lego store. The kids had a blast here. So much Lego to play with! Then we went for desert at Ghiradelli Soda Fountain. Mum got the "Cable Car" Which is a rocky road themed sundae. Peyton got a strawberry cone with sprinkles in a cup, Brandon and Steve shared a banana split with vanilla, choc chip and cookie ice cream. I got the brownie sundae with mint choc chip. The sundaes were fantastic but way, way too much.
