Busy,Busy,Busy

Well finally the weekend. Today we had swimming as usual. Here is a quick vid of B swimming on his back by himself. You will have to tilt your head to the left though as my videoing skills are rather poor.

After swimming we headed to The Entrance for a day of fun in this glorious weather! We had fish and chips for lunch, well I had calamari and chips and discovered Peyton loves calamari too! Then we walked over to the rides and the kiddies had some fun. Peyton on the carousel, Brandon on the giant inflatable slide and both of them on the other ride which they sat in a fire truck and rode round and round. The spoilt brats angels then got a present. Brandon got a giant rainbow pin-wheel and Peyton got one of those dolls on a stick.

Then it was time for ice cream :) I had the most deliciousness choc mint sundae with hot fudge, cream and chopped nuts. Mmmm, so much for my "healthy eating choices". After we stuffed ourselves we took the kiddies for a walk over to the water. They had a splash and B and I found some hermit crabs which we played with for awhile. P declaring that she "don't like crabs" and staying away. It was getting late in the arvo so we decided to head home.

Tonight is Peytons first night without the side on her cot. We are hopeful it means no more 5:30am wake up calls of "I'm awake" "Come get me" "Its morning time" Hopefully she will just wander into bed with us and go back to sleep.

Here's one for the mothers out there. Have you noticed how whenever you do an about me, to describe yourself, your interests etc.. you write parent, mum...blah blah blah

I guess when you have kids it really becomes about them. First. You come second or third or last.....

Here I am

Well here I am. A blog about me and my family. About the craziness of juggling 2 little kids, 1 big kid and a part time job. This will also give me a place to detail my holiday next year, the planning and then the trip and trust me there is a lot, seriously you will probably get sick of hearing about it......

A bit about me:

•  Mum to Brandon aged almost 4 and Peyton aged 2.5
•  In a long term relationship
•  Age - almost 25 ...scary...
• I like to talk, a lot. About myself, also a lot
•  Always thinks of things to say after the fact
•  Wanted to be a Veterinarian when I was 5 and  Horse Stud Manager or a Pastry Chef  when I was 16 (smarter as a 5 year me thinks)
•  Still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.....
• *Favourite colour is pink
•  I don't like scary movies. At all.
•  I don't think in straight lines, I think in wiggly ones
